In today's world there is no need for an Electoral College. We have to ability to counts every citizens vote electronically. The Electoral College has no purpose no except to inhibit on the rights of the U.S. Citizens. Even though they are supposed to vote for the people of their state they can be biased and have in the past not gone with the popular vote. If we eliminate them then the people get full power over who they want to represent them. It will also put an end to one state being more important than the other during election time.
