By eliminating the TSA the country would reduce spending by $8 billion. If we would Require that airlines hire their own private security only the people that fly (which only accounts for less than 50% of Americans) Share the burden of this cost not the rest of America in Taxes. The TSA has not apprehended any terrorists in its existence. They do not provide any different service than than a private security company can provide. The American taxpayers would like to be relived of this tax duty.
