There is just too much fraud and abuse. If an everyday person can see it, then it is most likely much more pervasive that anyone else thinks. I have a neighbor who gets welfare even though they live in a 300K home, have several new cars, and are always buying big ticket items. There are several full time working males in the home as well. But since the mother that lives there does not work, and has several children, she is entitled to welfare ( so I have been informed by a local Health and Human Services director ). He told me that even though it doesn't seem right, the system is just broken, and 'it is what it is'. WOW!...maybe it's time to end this completely broken and fraud ridden system for once and all
