In light of recent news reports, please explain to us why a company (Facebook) can post a profit of nearly $1.1B and not only avoid paying any taxes, but actually receive a refund of around $429M.
Amidst the turmoil surrounding our national budget; I believe we, the people, have a right to know how and why these companies get away with this.
How can our "leaders" in Congress tell us that corporate tax hikes would cause lay offs when, since 1978, the average CEO salary has grown by 725% and the average workers salary only saw a growth of 5.7%. (www.epi.org)

Even in the absence of a specific law, these actions are just morally and ethically wrong.
