Please explain the U.N. Sokovia Accords and the planned registration of enhanced individuals.

Created by S.R. on April 26, 2016

The United Nations is planning to vote on the Sokovia Accords, a framework for the registration and deployment of enhanced individuals.

What do we define as an enhanced individual? Who is being put in charge of these determinations and what makes them qualified to do so?

As a nation that prides itself on individual freedoms including a right to bear arms as well as a protections against illegal searches, seizures, imprisonment, etc, this seems to go against everything we stand for.

"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual." - Thomas Jefferson
