The OIG/State Audit has been posted and it requires more than a "we'll do better the next time" response.
This is serious. A concerted effort must be undertaken to find those missing documents and to do whatever the circumstances require with the people whose responsibility it is to maintain them.
DOJ should be called in to investigate potential fraud. I would like for you to make sure people are held responsible either for gross incompetence or worse.
Please work with Kennedy and Barr to get to the bottom of the missing documents. And please let me know the date of the last audit.
