DRACO is a drug in the making at MIT. This drug has shown promising results. There has been many tests done on human, monkey, and rat cells that are infected with a sort of virus. This drug has killed many different types of viruses such as the H1N1 Flu virus. But there seems to be a lack in progression due to funding. This drug is a miracle for many and should be placed on high priority. The results on rats with H1N1 Flu virus showed that the drug killed the virus completely. There needs to be a push for clinical trials on animals and humans. This will possibly help the economy as well with the recent Flu epidemic that is hurting this economy. Although I am not part of the MIT team that developed this drug, I have been keeping a close eye on its progress through articles and blog sites.
