Saeed Abedini, 32, a native of Iran who became a naturalized American citizen in 2010, is serving an eight year sentence in Iran's Evin Prison. Iranian authorities said he threatened the country's national security by helping start 'house churches' for evangelical Christians in Iran. But a couple years ago, he made an agreement to stop starting "house churches," and he would start help building an orphanage. This was not for just Christians, but for all the orphans in Iran. Now he is in the worst prison in Iran, getting beatings and torturings. And his condition is getting worse... He has internal bleeding. He is denied medical treatment, because they say he is unclean.
