PLEASE GRANT FEDERAL EMPLOYEES FRIDAY DECEMBER 26TH OFF AS A HOLIDAY.

Created by T.M. on September 18, 2014

Since another temporary resolution is going to be passed to keep the Government open until at least after the November elections, once again Federal employees face an uncertain future of possible furloughs, etc.... Federal employees have sacrificed alot while continuing to do their jobs with pride and to the best of their abilities. Allowing Federal employees to have Friday December 26th as a holiday would give people time to travel and see their families that don't live nearby or to have their families travel to their homes to see them. It would also encourage Federal employees to be more positive about the coming year. Federal employees know they are looking at another challenging and worrisome year. We urge you to grant this request Mr President.
