Please have NASA resume their plan to establish a moon colony. This could help the US go to Mars & other bodies.

Constructing a moon base could allow us to have access to billions of tons of metals like iron, titanium, and allow us to get water for the colonists. The low gravity will allow for easy takeoff and landing. This will help us as a nation and mankind as a spicies use the moon as a stepping stone to other planets like Mars, asteroids, and even the gas giants and their moons.
