Catalonia & the Basque Country are both stateless nations. Catalonia has been getting robbed by its taxes by Madrid central government. The Catalan citizen pay there taxes and don't get much of a refund. Most of the tax money goes to other regions of Spain and Catalonia is getting poor because of that. Madrid refuses to give an independence referendum to both Catalonia and Basque Country. Also catalan citizens are beating up by riot police and no justice is given. As for the Basque Country, ETA gave up its armed struggle but no dialogue has happen between ETA and Madrid. The police in the Basque Country are arresting citizens without a warrant for arrest. The vialence as been getting bad with the death of Iñigo Cabacas in April being shot by a rubber bullet. Please help and sign.
