A judge just upheld Texas' "right" to ban Planned Parenthood from participating in a healthcare program for poor women, because the organization supports abortion. Now over 50,000 poor women, disproportionately affected by the ban due to their dependence on this program, are left displaced and in many cases, without a place to go.
Rick Perry called the federal judge's decision to allow this ban to be enforced "a win for Texas women, our rule of law and our state's priority to protect life."
I think not, he was very unabashed about using this ban as a way to help defeat women's Constitutional right to choose?
