Please help Asia Bibi, a Christian wife and mother, who has been convicted in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for blasphemy and sentenced to death. This week (March 2015), the moratorium on the death penalty has been completely lifted in Pakistan. Asia Bibi remains jailed, as she has been since June 2009. Her case has been appealed to the Pakistan's Supreme Court, but no timetable has been announced for the hearing of her case.
The United States is the single largest trading partner of Pakistan (according to their embassy's website). The United States of America should urge the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to demonstrate mercy and tolerance by releasing Asia Bibi, and have her and her family safeguarded, until they can reach a country of asylum. Please pray for her & family.
