It's really not. Its still fun to be a wrestling fan- WK9 was incredible, NXT is intriguing, ROH still puts on good shows....but its not fun to be a WWE fan anymore.
Back in the Attitude/Ruthless Aggression era, it was fun. The WWE was so successful because you could enjoy being a fan. When you met other fans, you were able to have awesome conversations about what was going on. The product was consistently compelling. Most of that was because they listened to the fans- how fast did they start the slow burn for the Rock turning heel? How quickly did they capitalize on Austin after KOTR? Hell, they even booked Bret Hart as a massive face or a heel depending on what country they were in because it logically made sense and made for better story telling.
