When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for some people to inject a bit of reality into the political discourse, and to assume that a small number of disgruntled individuals doesn't speak for a state, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which brought them together in the first place.
We live in a society, and that carries both benefits and responsibilities. Get used to it.
The people who signed the NC secession petition do not speak for most North Carolinians, and we the undersigned think they're out of their gourds, and that they should speak for themselves, not presume to speak for this state.
Additionally, the press is being irresponsible in treating this topic seriously.
