How can we recruit allies to help us in foreign countries if we refuse to protect them afterwards? Those Afgans who helped us fight the Taliban now face death threats and fear for their families lives. They helped to keep our people safe-we cannot just walk away and not keep our word to protect them and their families. Americans must keep their word to foreign allies or we will stand alone on foreign soil in the future.
