please impose term limits of 8 to 12 years on the Congress and Senate.

I have created this petition with the hopes that it may help start legislation to enact an 8 to 12 year term limit on the Senate and Congress. This may help to prevent the formation of toxic relationships between Big Business and Congress-people or Senators. Our current system does allow for election results to allow constituents to replace Senators and Congress, but by having a term limit there will be more new ideas presented more often, and more of an incentive to get something done during one's stay in the seat.
