Mr. President,
Sadly, a large number of public opinion polls show that the majority of U.S. citizens feel that our Senators & Representatives are too far removed from the common citizen to give proper representation on such personal matters as our individual rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
I beg you to include many more common citizens in the process of any modification to our Second Amendment right as well as any future legislation that could impact any of our Constitutional rights.
The clear advantage of including a majority of common citizens in this process is that you will truly know what the people think. Also, it's a fact that common citizens aren't as easily influenced by lobbyists, political parties or worries of re-election.
