Shanghai Town, also known as 小江南，is an Chinese restaurant in Davis, California. Together with its newly opened branch Golden Town Chinese Restaurant, it sells unhealthy food containing artificial additives such as monosodium glutamate to the residents in Davis, especially Asian immigrants and Chinese international students. Contaminants like cement block pieces and pests are frequently found in their food. Many evidences show this historical Chinese restaurant is unlicensed.
