Please look into and put an end to the auto insurance industries practice of rating customers based on credit ratings

Created by T.A. on September 23, 2014

As we all well know by now, the auto insurance companies have decided to call the drivers and homeowners of this country, "deadbeats", by profiling us all as potential false claim filers based on our credit worthiness.
This petition is to ask the government to look into this practice and order the insurance companies to return to the way of business before this practice. If there are false claims being filed, these companies and the law should be going after those people, not the rest of us whom do not have any history of filing claims or just because we may/may not have lower credit scores. There are many reasons for low credit ratings and the insurance companies should not be allowed to penalize us for it. Besides, the insurance companies are not credit agencies.
