For the past 11 years Americans have been subjected to pictures, videos, and information about war. The bad part about this is that it is not a movie or some work of fiction, the United States has been at war for the past 11 years.
Will being at war for the past 11 years cause United States citizens to see gun violence as a normal thing? Will our children, who know nothing but war, see gun violence as a normal thing? Does this attitude change citizens so that it becomes ok to take a few guns and shoot up a school?
We should be putting our tax dollars into finding if being at war for 11 years has changed our attitude and if we can change it back to normal.
Thank you for listening, hopefully someone from the White House will respond and take action.
