In particular for H1 workers when they go out of US for vacation and if their visa stamp is expired, then they need to go for re-stamping. But many people are getting stuck in re-stamping due to '221g administrative processing' or 'additional administrative processing'. This processing is totally black box and with no time limit. So people get stuck and lose their job and they are totally helpless. Please make the process smooth, transparent and strictly time-bound. Currently the US consulates does not specify any time-limit or status of processing and people get stuck for months to years and lose hope. There is lot of scope to improve this process.
