While the journalist's do a great job of asking questions, we need a moderator that has both a voice and a gravitas necessary to overpower the participants and keep them in line so the rules of the debates are followed, the questions get real and substantive answers, and obvious misstatements and lies are not allowed to stand or be used as a pivot point to deflect from the real question and the structure of the meaningful debate the American public tuned in to see. Mr. Jackson has an amazing amount of qualifications to perform this task. His voice resonates at a pitch which can drown out a candidate if they go over the pre-set time limit they agreed to before the debate, his vocal range literally speaks for itself, and his job will not be in jeopardy, unlike a journalist's.
