September 11th is a day that is remembered by all as a instant of time where we all were united in disbelief, anger, and prayer at the horrific events in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC. We all have been impacted by the sweeping changes our country has endured in our war efforts abroad, strengthening of security practices at our borders or in our airports, the addition of a federal branch in DHS that provides a center of collaboration amongst peers and the community, the relationships we maintain with our allies of other countries, and the constant fluctuation of our post 9-11 economy. We are still rebuilding, our hearts are still aching. As much as this is a solemn occasion it is a day we came together, hopeful for a safer tomorrow. Let us not forget and honor the fallen.
