please pardon Sr. Megan Rice for her peaceful protest exposing security failures at the Oak Ridge TN Nuclear Facility

Created by A.M. on February 19, 2014

On 2-18-2014 Sister Megan Rice (84) was sentenced to 3 years in prison for sabotaging the Oak Ridge Enriched Uranium Nuclear Facility in a protest where she and 2 other senior citizens broke in with bolt cutters, snack foods and vandalized the maximum security facility then sat and waited peacefully for 2 hours before law enforcement arrived to arrest them. They did not resist arrest, they merely exposed how poorly guarded the facility was. Please sign this petition for Sister Rice to be pardoned so that she doesn't spend her last 3 years of her life in jail. She performed a great service to the country by doing this, rather than having terrorists intent upon stealing this Uranium point out the security flaw by being successful. Please sign to have her pardoned.
