Since its inception, the ADA leaves enforcement of ADA laws up to the community of people with disabilities. The ADA should have a regulatory oversight commission or it should be added to the Fire and Safety commission. People with disabilities should not have the burden of enforcing ADA laws on their shoulders. Please propose an amendment to fix this flaw in the ADA and help the community of people with disabilities to not be overlooked as has been the case for far too long.
