We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Please protect Balmorrhea Springs, the largest Artesian springfed pool on Earth.

Created by D.L. on December 15, 2016

Energy Transfer Partners, the group from Dallas TX are now building the Trans-Pecos Pipeline...the pipelines and fracking sites were approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in May, the TX Parks and Wildlife Commission, and the local county officials, and it doesn't look good for residents of West Texas, not only is their drinking water at risk, but their wildlife as well will be greatly affected by these developments approved quietyly amidst the NODAPL protests. Balmorrhea Springs (largest Artesian spring-fed pool on Earth)will be destroyed by this! Please sign and let's end this dependence on oil, tell our government to halt the fracking and pipeline construction! Let's encourage our government to move on to sustainable energy sources, and make sustainable decisions.
