Please protect blind human rights activist Chen Guangcheng. Keep him safe at the U.S. Embassy and do not hand him over to Chinese authorities. Also, please put pressure on the Chinese government to release his family from their confinement unharmed.
The U.S. government has a moral obligation to use it's political influence to promote human rights throughout the world. Please set an example for China and the world. Make it clear that the U.S. will not abandon it's commitment to defend human rights or give in to political pressure. Stand firm against injustice: protect Chen Guangcheng and his family.
