The Peace Monument(The "Comfort Women" Monument) in Eisenhower Park, Nassau County shows us the horrible result of the war. It is fair and fact-based monument which got permission from the commission of monument and mayor James Rotundo. The purpose of this monument is to show us how horrible humans can be by the war and to lead us to the bright and peaceful future by making us respect the human rights by reviewing the past.
AMERICANS and EVERYONE AROUND THE WORLD! This monument must be protected. This is America and we need it. The Peace Monument in Nassau County is the SYMBOL of our future peace.
