The Peace Monument in Eisenhower Park, Nassau County shows us the horrible result of the war. Some say that the purpose of the Monument is to cuss Japanese. But it is not true. The true purpose is to show us how horrible humans can be by the war and to lead us to the bright and peaceful future by making us respect the human rights by reviewing the past.
