I have realized that a second petition is underway to remove the statue of comfort women in Eisenhower Park, New York.
Needless to say, that statue deserves to be protected. Like the statue in Glendale Park, it stands testimony to the cruelty of war and women's rights which were violated in its course.
The statue should remain there to allow our future generations to reflect upon.
