The Fair Tax Act would help create more jobs and help to cut the federal deficit. It would also increase funding to SS and Medicare because about 15 million people who do not pay income taxes would now be paying into these programs. All illegal aliens and others who work/get paid "under the table" would be paying/contributing to these programs when they purchase goods. Also people who currently work would see an increase to their income.
