Please put the average citizens of the United States and their well being above the for-profit corporations (lobbyists).

Created by A.H. on January 03, 2014

Employment opportunities exist abound for former congressmen to make large salaries as lobbyists upon their leaving congress. Sometimes this employment transition comes within days of passing legislation that will advance profits for large companies. Not only can these congressmen have careers once exiting congress but should they choose to remain in office the majority of time their elections or re-elections are significantly funded by these large corporations. Corporations who finance campaigns of legislators or promise a lucrative career usually have the ability to sway a vote. The corporate funding of congress as well as the incestual career opportunities for congress to be lobbyists should cease and desist.
