Please put a ban on American Horses from becoming Dinner to someone across our borders.

Each year, tens of thousands of American horses,riding horses, carriage horses, race horses, wild horses, pregnant horses and their babies, are inhumanely transported across our borders and slaughtered, their meat shipped over seas for human consumption. Purchased by slaughterhouse middlemen at auctions all across the U.S., horses are shipped long distances in excess of 24 hours in cramped trailers without food, water, or rest. The majority of these horses are young, healthy animals who could go on to lead productive lives with loving owners.We know we can help put an end to these inhumane practices that we have been condoning because of our uneducated owners, over-excessive breeding, and sole ignorance. We are asking our country to be our voice, as we are their voice.
