Please reimburse dieticians to help with the obesity epidemic!!!Around 60,000 registered dietitians are here and ready to help the people fight the obesity epidemic in our great nation.
YET -- Just when dietitians (RD's) were working on being better known for what they do, on Nov. 29, 2011, CMS Medicare passed a ruling to exclude registered dietitans and psychologists from reimbursement for providing obesity treatment and counseling, the very two professions that could greatly help people without drugs or surgery.
