We should appeal to Mr. Obama to extend the same respect and courtesy he is currently showing to Myanmar in regards to warming of relations. Like Myanmar, Cuba has been easing its grip on power over these last few years under the leadership of Raul Castro. Why shouldn't sanctions be lifted on Cuba just as some have been lifted on Myanmar?
