On 1/18/13, BJC animal control was called by the City of Pinson, AL to pick up a dog at a local fast food restaurant. Witnesses say the docile dog was caught with a capture loop around his neck they used to blindly drag it over 150ft of concrete.A witness posted picture of capture and story on Facebook and the public posted numerous complaints on their page which they responded rudely to or deleted. said "internal review" resulted in no wrong doing. The mayor mayor has ignored requests for external review.A lady wanting to adopt the dog and pay all vet bills has been told the dog is going to a rescue and won't say which rescue. Public opinion is they are hiding injuries to the dog. Require them to refer complaints to outside public agency with review and results available to public.
