I appreciate all the work and effort Chuck Hagel has put forth for our country. However, I do not believe his ideals are in the best interest of our national security. He has voted many times against defense measures that received overwhelming bipartisan support. While he has the right to have his own opinion on how foreign policy should be conducted, if he were to be confirmed his job would be to act in the best interest of our country. Personally I'm concerned with his record on Iran, and do not believe he can fulfill the duties of the Secretary of Defense.
