Please reserve Veteran's day as an ACTUAL Holiday. What's the point of calling it a Holiday if our kids can't be home?

Created by B.H. on January 29, 2014

Yes, Veteran's day is on the calendar, but it's too bad that no one can celebrate it. Veteran's should be recognized for their hard work. Thankfully, we have a "Holiday" set aside to appreciate them. Unfortunately, this is not like the other Holidays. Kids are at school while Veteran's and their spouses are at work. If kids have off school on MLK day, they should have off school on Veteran's day.

Veteran's would love to use this time to actually spend with friends and family who are Thankful they are still here with us.
