When in the course of human events the United States of America has elections, one side usually wins and another side usually loses. Normally, the side that loses - be it the Democratic Party or the Republican Party - licks its wounds, tries to see how it can improve its standing with voting citizens, and moves on. However, in 2012 it seems to be the fashion for some Republicans to, in effect, try to take their marbles and go home like spoiled little crybabies, threatening to secede from the Union simply because they happened to lose one election. This petition simply requests that the White House issue polite responses to these whiny, bratty, spoiled petition writers telling them, in so many words, to GROW UP ALREADY and face the fact that they do indeed live in a democratic society.
