Government cuts to Mental Health System is unjust and is going to cost the state and federal governments more money due to inadequate treatment leading the majority of people with mental illnesses unable to work. Therefore, these people will have no income and insurance resulting in more people with mental illnesses filing for Social Security Disability, SSI, Medicare and Medicaid. Inadequate treatment will also result in more county, state and federal incarcerations, ER visits and Psychiatric Hopitalizations. This is a serious issue and restoring essential Mental Health Care funding and programs is necessary. Now is not the time to turn our backs on this!
