Please for the safety of our nation reconsider the 2nd amendment that give people the right to bare arms.

First off my family and I would like to wish the best to the families and friends affected in the recent Newton, Connecticut massacre. As a 14 year old middle schooler I am completely aware of the second amendment which states you have the right to bare arms. This amendment was included because it was approved by the general public. The majority of laws/amendments were also approved by the public. With the legality to bare arms comes hundreds of irreversible consequences. The effects of the second amendment have devastated the lives of so many innocent people. Many people say, "it's not the guns it's the people." Wrong! Without the gun these people are 99% less likely to be as lethal. I beg you, please sign this for the sake of the lives lost in many tragic shootings througout the years.
