Our nation's oldest full-time U.S. Park Ranger, Betty Reid Soskin, was burglarized and savagely attacked this June (2016). Her jewelry and valuable personal effects were stolen, including a precious commemorative coin she was given personally by President Barack Obama. The people of Richmond, California, the entire San Francisco Bay Area, and the nation at large request the Administration issue Ranger Soskin, our own surviving 'Rosie the Riveter' wartime hero, an identical commemorative coin. She is an American hero and a national treasure. Locally we are coming together to support her in her recovery and to help make her whole again after this brutal attack. One thing we cannot do from here is mint her another coin and hand it to her from the President's desk. Please sign this petition!
