please send the Violence Against Women Act back to Congress, to be rewritten as the Violence Against People Act.

It is a constitutional concept and a human right to have equal protection under the law. While statistics suggest women are more likely to be victims of domestic violence, there is no benefit and no rationale to not extending protections and funding to all victims of domestic violence.
