The nation's veterans need you to stand up for them. Please use your executive powers and the Justice Department to hold the VA managers and employees accountable. The law that governs the Department of Veterans Affairs is very clear. The VA and its personnel are required to act on behalf of the veterans, failure to do so should be punished. Just because a veteran works for the VA, doesn't mean they are above the law. In your words,“If you engage in an unethical practice, if you cover up a serious problem, you should be fired period."
