Please Stop the 2nd Amendment Propaganda

Please stop the propaganda about the 2nd Amendment being for hunting and fishing, and address the fact that it was intended to protect against tyrannical government. If there was a tyrannical regime, a pistol or shotgun, would be ineffective against semi or automatic rifles. Having citizens armed, is a balance of power between Government and Citizens. Outside governments think twice about ever invading the U.S, because they know citizens have semi-auto rifles. I pray that there will never be a tyrannical regime in the U.S, but if there was, the 2nd Amendment should be there for this reason; not for hunting and fishing. We mourn the loss of innocent lives due to the acts of evil people, but we believe that this right is in place to protect against a greater evil; tyrannical government.
