I have noticed tons of places for rent in the newspapers that says "no pets allowed" or "cats or small animals only".
We have to put an end to this kind of discrimination! It is increasing the homeless pet population. Forcing pet owners who want to rent, to give up their beloved family member.
Some pay higher rents, to find a place that will allow their family pet, hide the fact that they have one, Some choose to be homeless, so they don't have to give up their beloved pet.
Evidence suggests pets are a real health benefit for elderly people, Children learn Responsibility, Dependability, The Respect for all living creatures, The Miracle of Life & Tolerance. Think of the benefits for our economy as well with the increase sales of pet products.
