The Tennessee Judicial Drug Taskforces have been seizing large amounts of cash that innocent people are carrying are their public highways and not charging people with a crime. In one case an African man who was visiting this country to purchase $250,000 worth of tractors and his money was taken and held for three years.
The Tennessee legislature has seen fit to end this practice on a state level, so know the taskforces must seek federal help to seize these funds. They will collect 80-percent of all fund successfully taken by the federal government and thus fund their department.
This amounts to highway robbery by the police and government that should be protecting us.
