Several news outlets have released articles stating that due to the error of the government, enlistment bonuses and tuition reimbursements were given by mistake to thousands of soldiers. This is mismanagement by the government and these soldiers should not have to pay back this money. They served our country and should rightfully get to keep the money they were offered. I ask this Administration to please render the payback orders void as this is not only causing undue hardship on soldiers who have been notified they must pay back this money, but it also hurts the chances that other brave people will want to sign up in the future when we need them.
