I have a daughter 11yrs old and is mentally able to be in the 7Th grade. I wanted to hold her back and let her get another year under her belt but the school said that we the parent don't have the right to do that anymore Due to the no child left behind act.
So if the whole class gets it and there's two or three kids that don't have it, they get moved on. That really sucks that a parents rights to make sure his or her kid is well educated and can not make decisions for them. Did you all have our kids hell no you didn't keep your damn hands off of our kids education. I need help getting her education. I love my kids dearly. Ok let me ask you all this what would you do if somebody told you couldn't help your kid.
